Behind Ink N’ Ivory

Creator of Ink N’ Ivory, Esmeralda Zurita, also known as Esme, started out in the medical field as a medical assistant for nearly five years. Though her love for the medical field and patient care only grew, she knew something was missing. She always had love for beauty, in the field she grew a love for skin anatomy and with her artistic mind she came to create the perfect mix into Ink N’ Ivory.

Her interest in permanent make up came from her own insecurities. As one daily looks in the mirror, she always noticed the sparseness in the tails of her brows and the lack of color and hyperpigmentation in her lips. She’d spend hours on occasion looking into PMU services and their details, a growing interest. She remembers how much easier it felt to love her skin after having her brows done, how easier it felt to feel more confident. Becoming then a mom, she noticed changes in her skin and discovered the benefits of paramedical tattoos. The same way someone helped her resolve one of her insecurities, she craved wanting to help others in similar ways.
